Very pretty shoes. I wore these to a black tie event and I plan to be able to wear them in the future to holiday/cocktail parties and date nights. I usually wear a 10 in athletic shoes or a 9 - 10 in dress shoes. 9.5 fit the best for me. I found these very easy to walk in due to the flared heel, I felt sure-footed all night. I do wish the heel had a little more padding and my toes began to feel a little pinched by the end of the night but it wasn't terrible.
